Welcome, Lucía, so great to have you here! Tell us more about your current role at Hypatos and what it entails.

At Hypatos, as a Senior Customer Success Manager, I'm passionate about building strong partnerships with our clients. I focus on ensuring they maximize the value of our software, guiding them through every step of their journey, from onboarding to renewal. My goal is to see them not only achieve their goals but also become enthusiastic advocates of our brand.

Life Philosophy: Building on that, let's delve into the principles that have guided your journey. Do you have a personal motto or philosophy that shapes your approach to both work and life? If so, we'd love to hear about it.

Building on that, my personal philosophy perfectly aligns with my work at Hypatos. It's all about building strong partnerships where everyone wins.

"In both work and life, I believe in helping people reach their full potential. Seeing them succeed is what really fuels my fire."

Life Before Hypatos: What led you to your current career path, and were there any pivotal moments or experiences that shaped your professional trajectory?

My journey to Hypatos began at a tech giant – Microsoft. It was an amazing opportunity, and I even took a bold step by moving to Dublin, Ireland, just for the role! Sure, Microsoft's vast size could make you feel like a small fish in a big ocean, but it also forced me to develop valuable skills. There, I really learned how to communicate effectively, collaborating across a global team. This experience wasn't just about professional growth; it shaped me as a person, fostering a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.

While I thrived in that environment, a part of me craved a more direct connection to the customer impact. I wanted to see how my efforts directly translated into user success. That's what truly drew me to Hypatos. Here, in a more focused and collaborative team, I can see the difference I'm making for our clients every single day.

The Spark of Passion: What ignited your interest in the Customer Success field? Was there a specific moment or project that made you realize this was the path you wanted to pursue?

While my previous role at Microsoft was internal, the customer focus was always ingrained in me. I thrived on collaborating with different teams, shaping how they worked to ultimately deliver the best possible experience for our external customers. In fact, colleagues would often tell me I should be in a front-facing role – and here I am, loving every second of it as a Customer Success Manager!

Hypatos Team: How would you describe our team and company culture? Any memorable team experiences you'd like to share?

One of the things I love most about Hypatos is our incredible team. They're not only highly skilled and professional, but also incredibly approachable and friendly. Everyone brings a positive attitude, a 'can-do' spirit, and a willingness to help each other out – even when things get tough. As a fast-paced startup, that kind of camaraderie is essential. Despite being fully remote, we've managed to build a cohesive unit that functions seamlessly. Our quarterly offsites are a blast – a chance to connect in person and solidify the bonds we've built virtually. They're truly the engine that keeps me going!

Personal Projects: When you're not diving into projects at Hypatos, what do you enjoy doing to unwind and recharge? Whether it's a hobby, a favorite pastime, or a quirky interest, we'd love to hear about the activities that bring a smile to your face.

When I'm not at work, I get my energy from two things: traveling and taking on new challenges. I absolutely love exploring new cultures, diving headfirst into different ways of life.  To balance that wanderlust, I also need the satisfaction of pushing myself. Sports are my therapy – right now, training for a half marathon is my biggest personal hurdle. There's something incredibly rewarding about setting a tough goal and achieving it through sweat and determination.

Although Lucía and Hypatos have parted ways, she has been instrumental in driving our success and left her mark on our culture. We cheer for her from the sidelines as she embarks on her new journey and takes her career to new heights! All the best to you, Lucía!
